Coming soon...

Nothing makes you feel much better when things are in a state of disarray than seeing something beautiful take shape.
Our grapevine is going on it's 3 or 4th year. We had a smallish crop last year. I did make grape juice. But this year looks to be a wonderful one!

This vine is completely loaded with clusters!
I hope we do continue with lovely weather because I would just hate to see these beauties bitten by the frost bug.

Oh my... I can see grape jam and grape juice coming soon!
Love!

  1. Dearest Chas, Hello dear friend and ohh how we have strugled with mold at our home too. Water-thats the culprit! drippy, doesn't dry out when it needs too, water. we have it right now starting in our attic. :( our home is older and we have replaced much too. It sounds like you are making the best of it though. Think how fabulous your garden will be this year with all that time to work on it. The updates and pictures are not boring at all. I will pray for your work to come to an end soon. Happy Easter Dear Chas! God Bless you.

    1. Hi Cynthia! Thanks for your visit! We are trying to make the best of it, I have to say I haven't been as patient as I would like to be, but God's still working on me! :)
      Have a great day!

  2. Hey Heritage Acres Homesteaders! Do you know what the grape said when the elephant sat on it? Nothing! It just let out a little wine.

    Have a great day!

Phil, I will have to tell the kids that one, they will get a kick out of it! My 9 year old loves jokes.

  3. If it is supposed to freeze over night . . just cover your grape vines with sheets or blankets. That should keep the frost from damaging them. We do this with flowers, tomato plants etc.
